Greetings, my good people.

I’m Craig West, a designer in Madison, Mississippi. Established in 2000, HappyKreg is my digital home. In it’s first incarnation, this place served as a design portfolio while I searched for the perfect creative position. After finding that perfect job as creative director of The Gibbes Company in 2005, the site quickly became a personal blog about my family, chickens, gardening, music and everything in between. I love my job and the great people I work with so let’s hope the site’s done serving as my pimp.

I like to write about gardening but don’t get your hopes up about learning tried and true tips on the subject. I wander around, put plants into holes and hope for the best. It’s fun.
